3. No Hate or Harassment
Hate speech, slurs, bullying, threats, and harassment of any kind are not tolerated. This includes targeting people based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic. Be kind, or be gone.
4. Protect Your Privacy
- Don’t share personal information — your full name, address, phone number, passwords, or financial details — with strangers.
- Be cautious about moving the conversation to other apps or sites.
- Never share someone else’s personal information.
5. No Spam or Scams
Don’t advertise, post links to shady sites, ask for money, or try to trick other users. Scammers are banned on sight.
6. No Recording Without Consent
Do not record, screenshot, or share another user’s video or audio without their clear permission. Respect everyone’s privacy.
7. Report, Next, or End the Call
You’re always in control of your chats:
- Next — instantly skip to a new random partner if the conversation isn’t for you.
- End — leave the call at any time, no explanation needed.
- Report — if someone breaks these guidelines, report them. Reports are reviewed by our team and help keep VidChat safe for everyone.
8. Consequences
Violations may lead to a warning, temporary suspension, or permanent ban, depending on severity. Serious violations — including nudity, sexual content, hate speech, and threats — result in an immediate permanent ban.
